MIDI Foot Pedal
General
SongBook+ can respond to almost any MIDI commands. You can turn this function on here and configure which MIDI commands should trigger which function.
The MIDI commands can come from a MIDI foot pedal, but also from any other MIDI device, from a MIDI file played by SongBook+ itself, or from the "actions on play" configured in the song.

| Use MIDI foot pedal | Off | Turns on the foot pedal function. This lets SongBook+ recognize the MIDI commands configured below and trigger the actions linked with them. |
| Respond to Midi file | Off | Defines whether MIDI events from a played MIDI file should also be used to trigger configured foot pedal actions. |
| Respond to 'Actions during playback' | Off | Defines whether MIDI events from "actions on play" should also be used to trigger configured foot pedal actions. |
| MIDI channel for foot pedal | 1 | Defines on which MIDI channel the foot pedal responds. This affects the configured MIDI controllers, ControlChange, and NoteOn / NoteOff. MIDI SysEx messages are independent of MIDI channels. Available values: 1-16 |
