Control with Face
SongBook+ can be controlled with different facial expressions.
This feature is available only on iPads and iPhones with Face ID or on newer iPads with at least an M1 processor. For reliable detection of facial gestures even in poor lighting, however, a device with Face ID is strongly recommended.
Unfortunately, it is not suitable for singers, because facial expressions while singing lead to too many unwanted triggers.
When the function is enabled, you can open the "MIDI / Bluetooth Monitor" to try out and train the gestures. It then also shows the image seen by the front camera, and when facial expressions are detected, a line with the recognized gesture is written to the window.
